Temple Run for Android to not make it's February Deadline

Temple Run, one of the App Store's best selling games in the last six months, has been planning a release date on Google's Mobile Operating System for awhile and they suspected a February Release date, not according to these posts by their Twitter and Facebook Pages:
@TempleRun Temple Run is not yet out for Android. The new scam claiming to be Temple Run is a fake that puts malware on your phone. Do not DL. Sigh.

Facebook Announcement:
"Lots of people are asking when Temple Run is coming out for Android. We originally hoped it would be ready in February, but it's taking a little bit longer than expected. We are actually beta testing it now, so it's getting very close. We hope to announce a release date soon, but want to be 100% sure first. We promise that as soon as we know, we'll post here and give you at least a week's notice before it comes out.

Until we make an official announcement here, any app claiming to be Temple Run or a Temple Run Countdown app on Android is a scam. Please don't download these apps, as they may infect your phone with malware. We are working with Google to get these apps removed.

You will be the first to know the real release date.

Thanks for your patience and we're excited to get things finished up soon!"

So, read the posts, and follow their instructions. That's all for now, on Froggytvtechnews.

Apple possibly looking at phasing out their 30-Pin Connector

Yep, you read the title correctly. Apple is reportedly thinking of phasing out their proprietary 30-Pin connector that they use in all of their iDevices. Now why would anybody think that you may ask? Well, According to iMore, which says this information came from a “solid source,” Apple may be looking to get rid of the 30-pin connector we have all grown to love and/or hate. They say that Apple is maybe ditching the connector to free up space inside the device for a larger battery, larger screen, etc, (Lots of Boo's from angry people...Now.),  but not to Micro-USB. Micro-USB has become the standard method for charging/syncing any device nowadays. Apple is also reportedly making just a smaller version of the proprietary connector to free up some space, and still make you buy adapters for your docks, and anything else that depends on the 30-Pin, and also make you have to go through Apple to buy your replacement cables and what not. So, do you think that this connector should be phased out? Say so down in the comments. That's all for now, on Froggytvtechnews.

The Darkness II gets it's first launch trailer

The Darkness II, the sequel to the famous 2007 game we all know and love, is close upon us and sure does it look like an awesome game. Developed by Digital Extremes and being published by 2K Games, the story picks up just a bit after where the first left off. If you played The Darkness, you’ll notice the sequel’s nods to that plot immediately.

If you didn't already, watch the launch trailer above.

This trailer looks great, and it looks like a very gory game. Just like the original. This game will be available February 7th and will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC gamers. It's Rated M for Mature, (Like we care). So, that's all for now, on Froggytvtechnews.

Apple OLED Televisions coming in April or May with Siri!

According to a well known source, Technobuffalo claims that they have been told that their source has seen pre-production pictures of the new Apple "TV". They also claim that this new TV will have the iPhone 4S' newest exclusive feature built in, Siri, but it will be a more "Revolutionized" version of Siri. Walter Isaacson said in his Steve Jobs biography that Steve just "Discovered the way to revolutionize the television set". The source also says that this new TV will not use a remote, but instead just Siri voice commands, face recognition so that if no one is in the room, the TV will automatically turn off, and automatically wake itself when someone does enter, a feature found on some other high end television sets.

Apple is also said to be exploring the idea of using the TV to control other appliances in the home, including ovens and garage doors, although the report claims that the source provided no details as to whether Apple make such devices themselves; it is instead suggested that Apple might create a Made For iPod-like program to certify such products from third-party manufacturers. Since Apple is famous for making their products well built, but over-the-top expensive, it will compete with the higher end, sometimes cheaper TV sets, making Apple try to dominate in another field of the electronic industry. So, according to Apple's previous release dates, we wouldn't be surprised if the new television debuted at WWDC this Mid-year. So, you heard it here first, on Froggytvtechnews.

NOTE: I will be posting more frequent posts from now on.
